So many areas to go to, never feels crowded. The best resort I’ve ever been to, wish I could live here, it would cure my depression lol

Agradeça-me mais tarde! Este lugar é o melhor avaliado nesta área. Estou aqui há muito tempo. Eu realmente queria gostar deste lugar. Deixe-me começar com os profissionais - o hotel é lindo. E a equipe é extremamente simpática. E eles têm um ótimo clube infantil. Os contras são os seguintes, o quarto que recebemos na primeira noite tinha ar condicionado terrível / sem ar condicionado - quando ligamos, eles disseram que todo o prédio estava tendo problemas. A geladeira não estava fria - não nos atrevemos a colocar nenhum dos lanches que compramos para nossa filha na geladeira porque não ficaria legal. Todos os elevadores não possuem ar condicionado, e não há LOBBY para sentar ou se refrescar. O restaurante de café-da-manhã também não tinha ar condicionado. As piscinas são ótimas, no entanto, o trabalho de azulejo em todas as piscinas estava se desfazendo, nossos amigos que viajavam conosco cortaram o dedo do pé no azulejo da piscina. Finalmente reclamamos novamente no último dia/noite sobre o ar condicionado novamente e eles se ofereceram para nos mudar de quarto. O que fizemos, no entanto, o novo quarto era cevada melhor. Novamente, a equipe extremamente útil, mas para este tipo de propriedade eu esperava um pouco mais. (convidados com status Titanium)

Cómo todos los hoteles de grupo diestra el servicio y la comida son PESIMOS. Varias veces me perdí en este laberintico y caluroso hotel y al pedir ayuda al personal me di cuenta que no tenían idea de nada que sucedía en la propiedad. Los meseros son groseros y distraídos. Y en ninguna área común había AC, HABIENDO CUPO LLENO DEBIDO A LA CONVENCIÓN que tenía lugar. De J.W. MARRIOTT este hotel solo tiene los precios, cuidado viajero.

Big and quiet and clean resort! Pool is very big and water is warm.Staffs are friendly. However, the price is overpriced for the quality of Hotel. Staffs are nice but aggressively getting u to order food and drinks. Very limited entertainment, beside pools, nothing else to do! Is in a location that you have to take taxi or uber. The front desk not very helpful. No one help us with luggage and we have to find lobby ourself! Food is good but over priced. A large Latte cost $9 and ice coffee is not even that cold. If you enjoy peaceful and eating same food every day and swimming every day. this is the place. If you want more entertainment and food and coffee, pick different resort!

This place is the best rated in this area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't be disappointed. Fantastic experience at this great property. It’s HUGE with beautiful pools, an excellent spa and good restaurants. Our stay here in early 2022 was a fun and relaxing one. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They can help you book tours and what not. Recommended!

I REALLY wanted to like this place. Let me start with the pro’s- the hotel is beautiful. And the staff is extremely friendly. And they have a great kids club. The cons are as follows, the room we got the first night had terrible air conditioning/no air conditioning- when we called they said the entire building was having issues. The refrigerator was not cold- we didn’t dare put any of the snacks we bought for our daughter in the fridge because it wouldn’t have stayed cool. All of the elevators do not have air conditioning, and there is no LOBBY to sit in or cool down. The breakfast restaurant also had no air conditioning. The pools are great, however the tile work on all pools was coming apart, our friends traveling with us cut their toe on the pool tile. We finally complained again on the last day/night regarding the air con again and they offered to move us rooms. Which we did, however the new room was barley any better. Again- staff extremely helpful, but for this type of property I expected a little more. (Titanium status guests)

Couldn’t give us a king bed, couldn’t keep us in the same room, safe didn’t work in the first room after 2 hours of trying to fix it they took the safe out and replaced it with a different safe that then failed a day later. When they switched us rooms they still couldn’t give us a king bed. In this room the handheld shower did not work, then the bathroom flooded in the middle of the night, amazingly there was a king bed for them to transfer us into when the bathroom flooded. Then they refused to comp our room after the flood and issued us a resort credit instead. Feels like we spent the majority of our vacation at the front desk dealing with issues and moving around then we did actually enjoying our vacation

One of the best Marriott Resort properties I've ever stayed at. This JW is expansive and offers a high number of services and amenities. Stayed in both a basic double room and in a Umey Suite - both with access to the Griffin Club. Rooms were appointed, spacious, quiet and clean. Club access is a great amenity! Only suggesstion. Service could be improved upon during the "light dinner" that is offered between 6pm and 8pm. It would be great if the meal could be either self-served or served by the attendants buffet style rather than waiting for an attendant to seat you and run back-and-forth drinks and food for all guests staying within the "hotel within a hotel" concept. Breakfast at the Griffin Club was self-served and was phenomenal! Beer and wine is included all day, with cocktails offered from 6pm to 9pm (maybe 10pm) each evening. Upgrading to the Griffin Club is offered first to Marriott Members for $205 a night + taxes, so closer to $265/night. If you don't drink, it would not be worth it. If you do, it's very nice to have a bucket of beer and water placed by you poolside at the exclusive pool. Would highly recommended - will return.

My sister booked this vacation and found this property. The pictures doesn’t do it Justice! It’s beautiful, quiet, food is amazing, and the staff is very professional and friendly. Just beware that if you go into town this property is the furthest out, so you will be the last to be dropped off. It’s still worth the stay; will definitely be back

I’m a titanium elite with Marriott and I leave reviews only if I’m real impressed. I I stayed here with my family about a year ago and it was wonderful, the staff is highly skilled and dedicated, it seems like they love their job and very professional and passionate about it, I love it. The property is quite amazing, not cheap at all, and located on a very beautiful shoreline , the ocean is extremely rough so you won’t be able to swim, so forget about the beach. We are definitely returning !

Busquen otro hotel... Servicio muy deficiente. Recepción caótica. Trato desconsiderado a los locales. La playa no puede utilizarse. No responden a las quejas, ni siquiera por escrito. Además de carísimo. Da pena que sea un Marriott. Solo se salva la comodidad de las habitaciones.

Hotel monumental. Gran arquitectura, espectacularmente bella. Discriminación hacia mexicanos que llevó a amigos a quejarse varias veces sin recibir un mea culpa y disculpa de la mayoría del personal. Hotel muy lejano de la zona céntrica de San José del Cabo. Se me ocurrió preguntar dónde era la boda a la que íbamos y el personal de concierge no tenía ni idea, me llevaron con los de eventos y tampoco sabían. Su respuesta fue que "es que hay 3 bodas". Mi pensamiento fue: 3!!! Tantas que no sabes ni dónde son??? Lo encontré en mi teléfono, hice el trabajo de ellos. En un hotel de esta categoría, estas cosas no deben ocurrir.

Very bad hotel. Our flight was canceled so thought it would be a good place to stay for the night before our flight the next morning. I was very wrong. Food awful, service awful. Asked for a 7 AM pick up to the airport in the morning and was informed on my way to the taxi I could not charge it to the room or use cc and would have to wait for an Uber. Would never recommend staying at this hotel. It is also very fair away, looks close to the airport on a map.

The JW Marriott Los Cabos advertises that it is the most sublime point between the desert and the sea and during our trip in mid September 2021, it did not disappoint. Frequent Los Cabos visitors (3-4 times per year), we are very familiar with the different areas of Los Cabos and intentionally chose the San Jose del Cabo area for our ladies trip. There are two primary areas in Los Cabos: San Jose del Cabo, which is the sleepy village area known for amazing farm to table restaurants and unswimmable beaches that tend to be rocky. Cabo San Lucas is the busy city, where you will find the nightclubs, beaches that are safe for swimming, and a high energy vibe perfect for Bachelor and Bachelorette weekends away. The JW Marriott Los Cabos is located deep into the San Jose del Cabo area, next to Secrets (an all inclusive adults only resort), and it is perfect if you are seeking rest, relaxation, and an escape from go, go, go.Prior to arrival we reached out to the hotel concierge, who arranged private transportation to and from the airport; dinner reservations; and COVID-19 testing appointments on site. Upon arrival we made our way through the masses at the airport and out to the transportation pick up area. The JW Marriott Los Cabos is at stand 9 and the staff will have Epic Transportation uniforms on. We landed at 12:45PM on a Friday. We reached the transportation stand by 1:15PM. Two very strong drinks from the airport bar and over 90 minutes later, we found ourselves reaching out to the resort because the transportation services were anything but epic. We did not arrive at the resort until after 4PM, which is unacceptable. Of our entire stay this is the only area that disappointed us and needs improvement. Once a guest lands, the resort’s priority should be getting them to the property as quickly as possible.The good news was that upon arrival the property was breathtaking. It is a newer property done in a modern Mexican style, with beautiful lighting and wide, open hallways that gaze out into lush green spaces with ample seating for afternoons spent taking in the scenery. Check in was quick and the concierge was in the same area, so we were able to confirm our dining and transportation reservations almost immediately upon arrival.One note: the go to response throughout the property is ‘yes’ and we found the staff to be incredibly accommodating, often when their limited knowledge of English left them not understanding what they had agreed to. A week ahead of our arrival we emailed the property asking if it was a cashless property, to which we were assured it is not. However, upon check in the staff informed us that everything needed to be charged to the room and then you could come to the front desk to pay your bill in cash. So, for all intents and purposes, it is a cashless property. Again, I credit this to a misunderstanding and cashless is the emerging trend thanks to the pandemic, but it would have been nice to have this properly communicated when we asked about it.For dinner our absolute favorite on property was the shared ribs at Nak Grill & Bar. It was plenty for two of us and at $45USD it was great value. We loved it so much we went twice during our five day stay. If you’re looking for a larger breakfast the breakfast buffet at Uá Culinary Artisans offers 2 for 1 mimosas and one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever seen (which is saying a lot because we are Vegas based and I thought I had seen it all!). With a fresh smoothie station, eggs Benedict station, taco station, omelette station, and all of the standard breakfast buffet offerings you could easily stuff yourself. Personally, I adored the French toast, which had a light cinnamon flavor. On our second evening we shared edamame, California roll, and Dragon roll at Niparaya just off the lobby. If you’re new to Mexican sushi you should lower your expectations. That said, it was the best Mexican sushi we have ever had and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality.

When we were here a few years ago.. this would have been a five star review. Things that have remained the same....the staff are still amazing,they need to be complimented every day.. they are impeccable at their job, and really make you feel welcome.Things that have changed.... the place is really run down... this is aJW Marriott after all... and I dint mean the recent damage from the hurricane that went through... I mean the paint on the walls falling off .. the tiles in the pools... the stagnant dirty water in some of the water features... it was disappointing really. The food is also not as good as it used to be... sadly.... but again.. the restaurant staff make it an amazing 🌙.... they are the star of the entire hotel... if it were not for them... I'm not sure I'd consider coming back here... but because we really like the location,we will.The shower was the most amazing shower I have ever experienced... the beds could be a little softer... the rooms are gorgeous and the views amazing.I have to say again... the staff are amazing....we hope to come back again soon... hopefully they address some of the areas that have been let go

Esta foi a nossa primeira experiência Cabo (via viagens Costco) e não decepcionou! Este hotel é lindo e tranquilo e está localizado na praia. A equipe é incrível, muito atenciosa, simpática e prestativa! Tendo passado durante o auge da pandemia, estávamos um pouco céticos em relação aos protocolos, mas não poderíamos ter ficado mais impressionados quando chegamos lá. A equipe estava triplamente mascarada, usava óculos de proteção, usava luvas, era higienizada com frequência ... excelente trabalho na tentativa de combater a disseminação de infecções. Os quartos são lindos, tão espaçosos, e podíamos ouvir as ondas todas as noites e manhãs. Se houver algo que eu sugiro, talvez mais restaurantes no local, especialmente aqueles que atendem mais à família. Além disso, embora a propriedade seja muito adequada para famílias, não é muito adequada para carrinhos de criança (falta de rampas adequadas). A seleção de alimentos poderia usar um pouco mais de variedade. Fora isso, no geral foi uma ótima experiência! Você vai adorar o JW Marriott!

Um dos melhores resorts que já estive no México. Altamente recomendado para uma fuga tranquila das responsabilidades. Fica um pouco longe de Cabo St. Lucas (talvez 30 minutos), mas a privacidade e o isolamento valem a pena. As bebidas são ótimas e é muito acessível. O resort mais acessível que já estive em 5 anos. One of the best resorts I have been to in Mexico. Highly recommended for a quiet escape from responsibilities. It is a little ways away from Cabo St. Lucas (maybe 30 minutes) but the privacy and the seclusion is worth it by far. The drinks are great and it is VERY affordable. The most affordable resort I have been to in 5 years. Food and drink is fantastic for the price.

This was our first Cabo experience (via Costco travel) and it did not disappoint! This hotel is beautiful and peaceful and located right on the beach. The staff is amazing, very attentive, friendly, and so helpful! Having gone during the height of the pandemic, we were a bit skeptical about protocols but couldn't have been more impressed when we got there. Staff was triple masked, had goggles on, used gloves, sanitized often...excellent job in trying to combat infection spread. The rooms are gorgeous, so spacious, and we could hear the waves each night and morning. If there is anything I would suggest, perhaps more restaurants on site, especially ones that cater more to family. Also, while the property is very family friendly, it is not very stroller friendly (lack of adequate ramps). The food selection could use a bit more variety. Other than that, it was overall a great experience! You will love the JW Marriott!

Unfortunately the level of service here is far below JW Marriott's normal standards. When we checked in, our room wasn't ready yet, which is understandable since we were early. What is not understandable is how they treated our things. We were assured that our luggage would be put in storage and were given a ticket. We went to eat and came back an hour later to find our luggage in a corner of the main hallway, completely unattended. This was just one of several examples of subpar service, but I share it because it is the most inexcusable. This hotel is beautiful and frankly I had positive expectations. But after several experiences with very poor service, I have to recommend staying somewhere else.

El hospedaje es bueno, la cama es cómoda. Los desayunos son en el restaurante Uá, si te apetece algo ligero puedes pedir un jugo de frutas y el pan rústico con huevo y aguacate que tiene de guarnición tomates con albahaca riquísimos o el omelet con panela, espinaca y champiñones, ambos muy buenas opciones y si te gustan los huevos estrellados, tienen un platillo en cazuela al horno que podría gustarte.
